Mingle Hill is first and foremost a family farm. As a family, we try to follow the old saying; "When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence"
Nestled in the rolling hills of St. Ann's, the farm is where we live and we work. Our close relationship with the land is why we are so dedicated to growing organically with sustainable farming practices. We are named for the Mingle Hill Presbyterian Church which stood on the property in the early 1800s. But for us, 'mingle' also means bringing people together, and there is no better way of doing that than over food!
When we first started our farming adventure, we grew Certified Organic sunflowers. However, our small family veggie patch kept on expanding to take up more and more of our farmland. We decided to try to bring our love of growing and food together and focus on fresh organic vegetables and flowers for essential oils.
We look forward to meeting each and every one of you this growing season!
All of our produce is grown with Certified Organic seed, using organic compost and is free of herbicides and pesticides. All dirt and bugs are no extra charge. Follow our Instagram this spring to learn about the bugs we identify that can be either beneficial or invasive and what we do about them.
The Rozemas: Directors of Dirt Meet Emily and Randy. They don't get out much. The live together, work together, and spend ALL DAY together. They are the driving force behind Mingle Hill. Their passion for good food and growing keeps us growing. They love family, dogs, food and wine. Not necessarily in that order.
